“Flourish” is an event to showcase the talents of artists and musicians (particularly in the Fredericton area) through a weekend event running April 16th-18th in various venues around the city (Connexion ARC, The Capital Complex, Shiftwork Studio, reNeu).
These shows will provide the opportunity for artists to create and perform within the ‘flourishing’ arts community, as well as offer an opportunity to those who may not be as involved to integrate further into the local arts community. These events will showcase not only the talents of musical and visual artist – but also that of spoken word, cinematography, photography and poetry.
Art and music are at the core of Fredericton's cultural centre. Without the proper resources and collaborations put in place, throughout time it may not continue to thrive. Flourish is focused on combining the talents of up and coming artists with those of more experienced artist to provide unity and integration.
